Botswana Bowling Association (BBA) men’s and women’s teams left Sunday for Cardiff, Wales for the World Championship qualifiers.

Speaking in an interview in the capital city Gaborone, BBA spokesperson John Gaborutwe said the national teams are ready to participate in the qualifiers.

Next year’s World Championships are slated in the Gold Coast, Australia, which feature singles, rings, and rinks for both men and women.

The 2019 qualifiers will pit Botswana against some of the world’s bowling powerhouses like Scotland, England, Ireland and Switzerland among others.
