OSCE welcomes good results of termless truce in eastern Ukraine

The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) on Wednesday welcomed good results of the termless truce in eastern Ukraine.

After starting the new truce on July 21, not a single civilian victim has been recorded, Martin Sajdik, the OSCE special envoy in the Trilateral Contact Group on resolving the situation in eastern Ukraine, told journalists in Minsk.

The diplomat welcomed the efforts of the conflicting parties to maintain this truce, stressing that it was termless.

He urged the related parties to continue to fully comply with it in the future.

The next meeting of the contact group in Minsk will take place after a short summer break on Aug. 21.
