Lebanon opens Mideast 1st diving accidents treatment center

Lebanon’s Army Commander Joseph Aoun opened on Thursday the first diving accidents treatment center in the Middle East, Lebanon 24, a local news agency, reported.

The center includes a pressure chamber, a gas mixing chamber, an air filling chamber, and a diving equipment warehouse.

During the opening ceremony, a maneuver was carried out, involving the air force and a naval squad.

To date, more than 30 civilians have been treated in the center for diving accidents.
