Moroccan FA holds VAR training for referees

Morocco’s football federation recently completed a 10-day session to train video assistant referees (VAR).

The federation invited 110 Moroccan referees to the training camp ahead of the adoption of VAR in Morocco’s first football league, “Botola Pro”.

The training session organized at the National Center of Football in Mammoura, near Rabat,  focused on basic VAR elements to ensure the referees are familiar with the technology and protocols.

It also included training of FIFA’s new refereeing regulations.
