Six out of ten Greeks appear content with the country’s direction in recent months, according to a survey released last night.
The 61 percent of respondents in the opinion poll, conducted by Pulse polling firm for Skai TV, said things seem to be moving in the right direction, while 31 percent said the course was wrong.
Three in 10 participants in the survey said that tax cuts were the most positive reforms made lately.
The conservative ruling New Democracy (ND) party which won July’s general elections still holds a wide margin over the Leftist SYRIZA party which had ruled since 2015.
Should elections were held this weekend, ND would win again garnering 38.5 percent of votes and SYRIZA would follow with 25 percent. In July, ND won the elections with 39.8 percent and SYRIZA, 31.5 percent of votes.
