A total of 235 security incidents have occurred in Syria’s southern province of Daraa during July-December 2019, a war monitor reported on Thursday.
The security incidents include assassination attempts, shootings, roadside bombs, and armed assaults, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Such situation has claimed the lives of 163 people, including civilians, government soldiers, and armed men, according to the Observatory.
The Syrian army has captured Daraa in 2018 following battles and deals for the rebels to flee to Idlib Province in northwestern Syria.
Daraa was the birthplace of the protests against the Syrian government.
