Bulgaria reports record-low new COVID-19 infections

Bulgarian health authorities on Monday reported a record low of only six new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the nationwide tally to 2,433.

Meanwhile, another 22 people have recovered from the disease, raising the total number of recoveries to 862, secretary of the national coronavirus task force Dimo Dimov said in a statement, adding that there were no new COVID-19 deaths.

He also said that 235 patients are currently hospitalized with 20 in intensive care units.
