Palestine says becomes full member of World Free Zones Organization

Palestinian Economy Minister Khaled al-Osaily announced on Thursday that Palestine has become a full member of the World Free Zones Organization (World FZO).

The Dubai-based World FZO held its annual conference online on Thursday with the participation of representatives from its 37 member states.

In a press statement sent to Xinhua, al-Osaily said he represented Palestine as the chairman of the Palestinian Industrial Zones Authority at the online conference.

Joining the World FZO is part of the Palestinian government’s efforts to place Palestine on the international map of investment and to improve the Palestinian economy and attract investment, he noted.
