Palestine reports 6 new COVID-19 deaths, 158 in total

– Palestine recorded on Thursday six new COVID-19 fatalities, raising the total number of deaths to 158 in the Palestinian territories.

Palestinian Health Minister Mai al-Kaila said in a press statement that 131 fatalities from the West Bank districts, 24 fatalities from East Jerusalem, while three from the Gaza Strip.

Al-Kaila added that the Health Ministry recorded 622 new cases infected with novel coronavirus in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza Strip, raising the total number to 27,386 cases.

Since March 5, Palestine has recorded 8,409 active cases, and 18,819 recoveries, according to al-Kaila.
