5.1-magnitude quake hits 272 km SSE of Alo, Wallis and Futuna — USGS

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted 272 km SSE of Alo, Wallis and Futuna, islands in the South Pacific, at 9:42 p.m. local time (0942 GMT) on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 16.6309 degrees south latitude and 177.2712 degrees west longitude.
