The Foreign Ministers of Cyprus and India have held talks focusing on entrepreneurship, innovation, and tackling the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
During a teleconference call, Nikos Christodoulides and Subrahmanyam Jaishankar expressed their satisfaction with the excellent level of bilateral relations.
EU-India relations were also discussed, in view of the forthcoming EU-India Summit scheduled for May. The Ministers concurred that strengthening EU-India relations would be beneficial for all parties.
Christodoulides briefed his Indian counterpart on the latest developments in the Cyprus issue and on the ongoing efforts of the UN Secretary-General for the resumption of negotiations from the point they were suspended in Crans Montana.
