Ukraine’s foreign trade in goods amounted to about 7.050 billion U.S. dollars

The deficit of Ukraine’s foreign trade in goods amounted to about 7.050 billion U.S. dollars from January to October this year, more than double compared with that of the same period last year, official data shows.

Ukraine recorded trade in goods deficit of 2.691 billion dollars from January to October last year, the data showed.

In the first ten months of this year, Ukraine exported goods worth 36.859 billion dollars, down 32.3 percent compared with that of the same period last year, the State Statistics Service said in a report.

Exports of ferrous metal and grain saw the largest decrease in the recording period, falling by 64 percent and 21.7 percent respectively, the report said.

According to the document, Ukraine’s imports from January to October this year shrank by 23.2 percent to 43.909 billion dollars.
