
China’s top foreign policy official Wang Yi has held talks with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov in Moscow.
“Russia and China remain determined and committed to a multi-polar world with no hegemonies,” he told Lavrov.
According to reports, Yi expects new agreements to be struck during his trip to Russia. Earlier, the Kremlin confirmed Wang Yi will meet President Vladimir Putin.
The Chinese diplomat also says he will work to “strengthen and deepen” relations between Moscow and Beijing and he expects new agreements to be reached today.
