A new yellow warning for very high temperatures has been issued by the Cyprus meteorological service for today, Wednesday.
It will be in effect from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The maximum temperature inland is expected to rise to 40 degrees Celsius and in the highest mountains to 33.
