The wildfire in the state of California in the United States, which has been named the “Franklin Fire”, is spreading quickly. There is little humidity in the air and a lot of wind, which creates a good breeding ground for the fire, writes CNN.
“At its worst, the fire tripled in size in just four hours,” says a spokesperson for the local fire department.
The fire now covers an area of approximately eight square kilometers.
More than 6,000 people have been evacuated from the area around Malibu, a coastal city in Los Angeles, located in the southwest of the state.
