Rainfall across Cyprus reached 81% of the normal monthly average for February, according to figures released by the Meteorology Department.
In the past 24 hours, Platania recorded 22.4 millimeters of rain, bringing the month’s average total to 65.8 millimeters.
Prodromos saw the highest rainfall, with 189.3 millimeters — equal to 130% of the area’s typical February levels. Of that amount, 7.4 millimeters fell in the last day.
