Police are investigating a new case of assault and robbery involving a 21‑year‑old food delivery driver in Limassol.
Authorities said the incident happened around 1 a.m. when the driver, who was in his car, was approached by three unidentified individuals on scooter‑type mopeds. According to the complaint, the suspects blocked his vehicle, opened the driver’s door, pulled him out and beat him.
Police said the assailants then took €1,800 in cash from a compartment inside the car before fleeing.
The victim was taken by ambulance to Limassol General Hospital, where doctors found he had facial injuries. He received first aid and was discharged.
