At least five people have died in England and Wales as a result of Storm Bert.
Heavy rainfall accompanied the storm, snow melted in considerable amounts in some places, causing large floods in many places.
Most died in traffic accidents due to the storm, but one died when a tree fell on top of a car in Winchester, England, and another drowned in the River Conwy in north Wales.
A woman in her 90s was taken to hospital after a collision, but her life is not considered to be in danger.
The River Taff in the Welsh town of Pontypridd overflowed its banks yesterday.
Businesses in the town were forced to close for the weekend. Thousands have been without power this weekend and over 300 flights have been cancelled.
More than 200 warnings have been issued for flooding in England, Wales and Scotland last night.
The flooding is expected to have the worst impact in south-east Wales. Meteorologists say they expect Bert to pass over the next 24 hours.
