Four people have been injured when a private helicopter crashed in India’s south-western state of Maharashtra on Saturday, confirmed a local government official.
The chopper crashed near Paud village in the state’s Pune district. No loss of life or property was reported from the ground. The injured persons included the captain flying the ill-fated chopper belonging to a private aviation company.
The chopper was flying from the country’s financial capital Mumbai to Hyderabad, the capital city of the southern state of Telangana, when it met with the mishap.
All four injured persons were admitted to a local hospital where their condition was said to be stable.
