Large-scale artificial intelligence (AI) factory expected to begin operations in Estonia

The Baltic region’s first large-scale artificial intelligence (AI) factory is expected to begin operations in Estonia later this year, with an initial capacity of 22 megawatts.

The facility will be operated by Amsterdam-headquartered AI cloud company Nebius at the Greenergy Data Centers complex near Tallinn.

Nasdaq-listed Nebius said the project forms part of its ongoing expansion of AI infrastructure across Europe.

Nebius has been rapidly expanding its computing capacity in Europe. It is developing large-scale AI facilities in Finland and France, while also operating infrastructure projects in Britain, Spain and Iceland.
