Unemployment in Cyprus fell to 3.2% in April

Unemployment in Cyprus fell to 3.2% in April, according to new Eurostat data, edging down from 3.3% in March.

Youth unemployment for people under 25 was not available for April. The most recent figure, from January 2026, stood at 12.7%.

Across Europe, unemployment was unchanged. Eurozone unemployment held at 6.3%, while the European Union rate remained at 6%.

Eurostat estimates that more than 13 million people were unemployed across the EU in April, including about 11 million in the eurozone.
