FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker is visiting Cyprus for high-level discussions with Cypriot officials, including President Nikos Christodoulides.
The two leaders are scheduled to hold a private meeting Friday morning, followed by expanded talks between delegations from both countries.
Key topics on the agenda include bilateral relations, European Union affairs, and Cyprus’s upcoming presidency of the Council of the European Union in the first half of 2026. Discussions will also cover developments in the Cyprus issue, the war in Ukraine, the situation in the Middle East, and other international matters.
On Thursday evening, President Christodoulides hosted a private dinner for Chancellor Stocker.
