The Cyprus Police and the Cyprus Police Sports Association will host a charity run on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at Athalassa National Forest Park in Nicosia, honoring officers and firefighters who died or went missing in the line of duty.
The event includes a 5-kilometer race for adults and a 1-kilometer race for children. All proceeds will benefit the Cyprus Thalassemia Association, supporting individuals affected by the genetic blood disorder.
Commemorative medals will be awarded to all participants, with prizes given across age categories.
Start times are scheduled for 9 a.m. for the 5K and 10 a.m. for the children’s race.
During the event, volunteers from the Karaiskakio Foundation will conduct bone marrow donor registration for individuals aged 18 to 45.
