CYPRUS WEATHER – WEDNESDAY 6 AUGUST – Cyprus is expected to see mostly clear skies Wednesday, with periods of increased cloud cover over western and northern coastal areas, according to the national meteorological service.
Winds will shift from southwest to northwest, starting light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, and strengthening later in the day to moderate or strong at 4 to 5 Beaufort. Gusts along the southwestern coast may reach very strong levels, up to 6 Beaufort.
Seas will be generally slight, becoming moderate in southwestern coastal areas by afternoon.
Temperatures are forecast to reach 38°C inland, 32°C along the western and southwestern coasts, 35°C on other coastal regions, and 31°C in the higher mountain areas.
