Police carried out intensified overnight patrols in key urban areas, aiming to prevent serious criminal activity, maintain public order and boost the public’s sense of safety.
The operations led to the arrest of five people on charges including theft, causing grievous bodily harm, driving under the influence of alcohol, and illegal possession and transport of explosives.
Officers also issued a series of traffic citations, including 60 for speeding and 27 for driving under the influence of alcohol. Thirteen vehicles were seized as part of the ongoing investigations.
