Police in Limassol are investigating a new case of online fraud after a company director reported the theft of cryptocurrency worth €176,000 from a corporate account.
According to the complaint, employees received an email on April 16 urging them to follow a specific link. One employee reportedly clicked the link, triggering a series of unauthorized transfers of cryptocurrency to unknown digital wallets.
The case is under investigation by cybercrime officers.
