The Price Index of Construction Materials in Cyprus reached 118.92 units in May 2025, reflecting a 1.34% increase compared to May 2024.
Despite a 0.09% decline from the previous month, several commodity categories saw price hikes.
Minerals rose by 3.65%, mineral products by 3.47%, wood, insulation materials, chemicals, and plastics by 0.48%, and electromechanical products by 0.37%.
Metallic products, however, recorded a 0.74% decrease.
For the period January-May 2025, the index showed a 1.23% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
