Police arrested three individuals, including two minors, during a coordinated anti-narcotics operation carried out Saturday by the Cyprus Drug Law Enforcement Unit (YKAN) in the Famagusta district, authorities said.
Officers conducted multiple residential searches targeting drug possession and trafficking. In one home, they discovered 860 grams of cannabis and 270 grams of cocaine. The 48-year-old homeowner was arrested under a court warrant.
In two separate searches, police detained two minors after finding cash and both used and unused nitrous oxide canisters in their residences.
Investigations are ongoing under the supervision of YKAN’s Famagusta division.
