Police are investigating the circumstances of a road collision in the Nicosia district that left a 91‑year‑old man injured on Monday.
The incident occurred shortly before 1 p.m. in Latsia, when a car driven by a 28‑year‑old woman struck the man as he was walking, police said.
Officers examined the scene, and an ambulance took the victim to Nicosia General Hospital. Doctors determined he had suffered a head injury. He was admitted for treatment and is in stable condition, according to hospital staff.
Nicosia Traffic Department is continuing the investigation.
