Tourist arrivals to Cyprus rose 9.5% in February compared with a year earlier, reaching 146,516, the Statistical Service has said.
Arrivals for January–February totaled 268,141, up 9.1% from the same period in 2025. The United Kingdom remained the largest source market, accounting for 19.3% of February arrivals, followed by Poland (18.4%), Israel (12.6%), Greece (9.3%) and Germany (6.6%).
Most visitors — 61.5% — came for holidays, while 21.6% visited friends or relatives and 16.7% traveled for business.
Outbound travel by Cyprus residents increased sharply, rising 22.5% year‑on‑year to 152,198 in February. Greece was the top destination, representing 30.8% of all returns, followed by the United Kingdom (8.1%), Italy (4.2%) and Poland (4.1%).
The figures are based on the Traveller Survey conducted at Larnaca and Paphos airports, supplemented by administrative data from ports and aviation authorities.
