In California, strong winds are forecast to return to the wildfire-ravaged Los Angeles area starting Monday, according to the US National Weather Service.
At its strongest, the winds blow at 130 kilometers per hour, and the humidity in the area is also low.
A total of 27 people have died in the wildfires, which are still not fully contained. Over the weekend, evacuation orders were lifted from dozens of neighborhoods in the city’s western suburbs.
