The Embassy of Israel in Cyprus has denied a report by an Israeli website that stated that it had issued serious security warnings to Israeli citizens on the island.
According to CyBC, the embassy stressed that “at no point” has it issued such instructions or warnings, the Israeli Embassy characterizes the publication as false, misleading and “a complete fabrication, without any basis in reality.”
“It is sad and unfortunate,” the statement added, “that news outlets are publishing unverified and false allegations without seeking confirmation from reliable sources.”
