Health authorities in Uganda have confirmed an outbreak of the Ebola virus in the capital Kampala.
They state that a patient infected with the virus died on January 29.
The man sought treatment at several hospitals, as well as a traditional healer.
It was the Sudan variant that was detected in the man, after samples were taken from him after death occurred.
