US President Donald Trump is ousting board members of the US National Cultural Center and declaring that he will stop performances by drag artists.
In a post on his own social media site Truth Social, Trump writes that he is appointing himself chairman of the board of directors of the United States’ national cultural center in Washington, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
‘At my direction, we will make the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC GREAT AGAIN. I have decided to immediately remove several individuals from the board, including the chairman, who do not share our vision of a golden age in the arts and culture,’ Trump wrote in the post.
