The Meteorology Department has issued a yellow warning for extremely low temperatures in Cyprus.
This warning will be in effect from tonight until Sunday morning. During this period, the minimum temperature in the highest mountains is expected to drop to minus 9 degrees Celsius.
Cyprus is currently under the influence of the barometric low “Coral,” an Arctic blast bringing unusually cold weather across southeastern Europe.
