Six parties won seats in Cyprus’ new House of Representatives in Sunday’s election, according to official results.
DISY took 27.1% of the vote and kept its 17 seats, while AKEL received 23.9%, retaining 15 seats.
ELAM won 10.9% and will hold eight seats, the same number secured by DIKO, which finished with 10%.
Alma entered parliament with 5.8% and four seats. Direct Democracy also won four seats, taking 5.4%.
EDEK, DIPA and the Greens–Citizens’ Alliance failed to win representation.
Turnout was 66.91%, with 380,851 voters casting ballots. Authorities reported 372,063 valid votes, 6,618 invalid and 2,170 blank.
