Pending applications for international protection dropped from approximately 34,000 in March 2023 to 19,000 in March 2025, with asylum applications now processed within one to three months.
The announcement also addressed infrastructure projects for migration management, noting that over 90% of these projects are funded by the European Union and international organizations.
The government emphasized its commitment to a responsible and targeted immigration policy, aiming to safeguard the interests of the state and its citizens while fulfilling international and European obligations.
