The European Union is providing unprecedented military support to Ukraine this year, according to EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas.
Speaking to the European Parliament on Tuesday, Kallas said the bloc and its 27 member states have delivered nearly €169 billion in total financial assistance since Russia’s full-scale invasion began in 2022.
Of that, €63 billion has been allocated specifically for military aid.
EU countries have also supplied ammunition, reaching 80 percent of the bloc’s target to deliver 2 million rounds to Ukrainian forces.
“We aim to reach 100 percent by October,” Kallas said.
