FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – Paphos will soon be home to the largest and most modern elderly care center in Cyprus, Mayor Phedonas Phedonos said Thursday.
The four-story assisted living facility will include 100 private en suite rooms, each featuring a kitchen, living area, and bathroom.
It will also offer a landscaped garden, computer classes, dance lessons, and other activities aimed at promoting well-being.
“This is real social care and protection,” Phedonos said. “We want to build a strong network of support with proper backing from the state.”
In addition to on-site care, the facility will operate a fleet of vehicles staffed with in-home care professionals to assist elderly residents who prefer to remain at home.
