At least 135 Palestinians were killed in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, including 87 people who died while attempting to obtain food, according to the Hamas-run Health Ministry.
The ministry also reported 771 injuries during the same period, and five additional deaths attributed to starvation. The total number of hunger-related fatalities has now reached 193, including 96 children.
The United Nations estimates that since May, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed while trying to access humanitarian aid. Aid groups warn that the volume of assistance entering Gaza remains far below what is needed to meet basic survival needs.
The ongoing conflict has left Gaza in a deepening humanitarian crisis, with widespread malnutrition, limited medical care, and continued Israeli military operations across the enclave.
