FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – The television crew of the Irish travel series Téacs Taistil is currently in Larnaca filming an episode for its fourth season, set to air in April 2026 on Irish broadcaster TG4.
Larnaca is one of six destinations featured in the new season, alongside Toronto, Chicago, Wisconsin, Rhodes, and Bucharest, according to the Larnaca Tourism Development and Promotion Company (ETAP). The production was coordinated with ETAP to showcase the city and its surrounding region.
The series, aimed at a young and adventurous audience aged 20 to 35, blends cultural exploration with entertainment. The show’s three presenters discover destinations through hands-on challenges and missions, offering viewers an engaging travel experience while actively maintaining social media accounts to enhance visibility.
During filming in Larnaca, the crew has participated in activities such as boating, traditional halloumi-making, wine tasting, museum visits, and water sports to highlight the region’s authenticity and diversity.
Production assistant Chloe Tynan described the experience as “exceptional,” marking the crew’s first visit to the area.
