FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – The International Monetary Fund has reached an agreement with Ukraine to release $500 million under its four-year, $15.5 billion loan program.
Following a review of Ukraine’s economic performance, the IMF determined that the country is meeting the program’s conditions.
The recommendation now goes to the IMF board, which is expected to approve the disbursement.
Once finalized, Ukraine will have received a total of $10.7 billion from the program, aimed at supporting economic stability amid ongoing war-related challenges.
