Italian youth are the most worried about climate change in the European Union, according to a new survey released Tuesday by the European Commission.
Forty-six percent of young Italians expressed concern over environmental issues, topping the bloc. Danish and French youth followed closely.
Cypriot youth ranked near the bottom.
Just 24% said they were concerned about climate change, placing Cyprus fourth from last among EU countries.
The survey was conducted last year by the Commission’s Directorate-General for Environment.
