Cyprus: Police Investigate Kidnapping Case in Limassol; Seven Arrested

Authorities in Limassol are investigating a reported kidnapping involving two young individuals, aged 19 and 21.

According to reports, the pair were attacked following a dispute with their roommates and subsequently taken to an unknown location.

By midday, police located the victims in an abandoned building in the Limassol district.

Both were transported to Limassol General Hospital, where they were found to have sustained multiple abrasions.

As part of the investigation, seven individuals were arrested under court-issued warrants and remain in custody. Police say the arrests are intended to facilitate further inquiries.

The Limassol Criminal Investigation Department continues to pursue leads in the case.
