FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE – The Cyprus Foreign Ministry expressed deep revulsion over recently released images showing Israeli hostages still held by Hamas, renewing calls for their immediate and unconditional release.
The ministry also emphasized the urgent need for safe and unhindered humanitarian access to civilians in Gaza.
In a statement shared on the social media platform X, the ministry said the footage underscored “the pressing and absolute need for a lasting ceasefire.”
“There is no future for Gaza that includes terrorist organizations,” the statement continued, calling for large-scale humanitarian assistance to reach civilians without delay.
