Cyprus will see mostly clear skies Tuesday, with temperatures reaching up to 38 degrees Celsius (100°F) inland, meteorologists said.
Winds will range from southwest to northwest at 3 to 4 Beaufort, strengthening to 5 Beaufort in southwestern areas by afternoon. Seas are expected to be slightly rough.
Coastal temperatures will reach around 32°C (90°F) in the west and southwest, 34°C (93°F) elsewhere along the coast, and 31°C (88°F) in mountainous regions.
Tonight, skies will remain mostly clear, though low clouds may form in western and northern areas. Patchy fog or mist is possible in the eastern half of the island. Winds will shift to light northwesterly and variable, around 3 Beaufort. Overnight lows will drop to 22°C (72°F) inland and along the coast, and 19°C (66°F) in higher elevations.
Clear conditions are expected to continue through Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures will gradually decline through Wednesday, with little change on Thursday, settling near seasonal averages.
