Cyprus’ foreign minister issued a stern warning to citizens considering Easter holiday travel to areas affected by the conflict in the Middle East, urging them to follow official guidance and avoid unnecessary risks.
Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos said the situation in the region remains “dangerous and unpredictable,” and called on the public to monitor and comply with all travel advisories.
Kombos noted that the recent repatriation effort had been difficult and stressed that such operations cannot be repeated easily. For that reason, he said, all travelers must adhere strictly to the ministry’s instructions.
