Turkey’s industrial production rose 2.6% in February from the previous month and 2.2% from a year earlier, the Turkish Statistical Institute said Monday.
Mining and quarrying output increased 4.1% year‑on‑year, while manufacturing rose 2.4%. Electricity, gas, steam and air‑conditioning supply fell 2.2%.
On a monthly basis, mining output was up 0.4% and manufacturing increased 3.3%. The electricity and gas category declined 3.6%.
