A rowing boat carrying 21 people capsized in the Dasoudi sea area of Limassol on Tuesday, and all aboard were rescued, according to Cypriot media reports.

The Phileleftheros newspaper and other outlets reported that the boat carried rowers and coaches. The Joint Rescue Coordination Center activated the national search and rescue plan, known as “Nearchos,” immediately after the incident.

Search and rescue efforts were carried out by air and sea, and units from the police and the Cyprus Civil Defense, as well as port and marine police and lifeguards, took part in the operation, the reports said.
