The video platform TikTok is now closed in the United States, reports the AFP news agency.
Congress has previously passed a law requiring Chinese parent company ByteDance to sell the app by Saturday, or it will be banned in the United States.
The app is unavailable to American users and cannot be downloaded as of Sunday night, Reuters reports.
TikTok has 170 million American users.
Users have received a message stating that they are unfortunately unable to use the app at this time.
